November meeting provided members an opportunity to show their new projects.
Sally wove this attractive shawl, handmade soap and washcloth were made by
Shirley and Sharon wove another great throw.


At
the September meeting we viewed a Nuno felted scarf and this great
cover Valerie made for the Guild scrapbook.


Sue and Betty took a metal class at IWC. What wonderful
projects they finished!

Pam wove this scarf with handspun alpaca/churo warp and churo
weft. It was beaded with turquoise crystal beads.


Sharon's throw (left) uses yarns she dyed herself.

Shirley knitted the bulky wool socks out of an alpaca/wool blend. Kate
models Sharon's shawl with pockets.


Elaine wove the rug on the left from 100% hand dyed wool.
This Chief's Rug is in red, black and white and is on display in Taos at
Weaving Southwest. The rug measures 42" x 65". The photo on the
right shows another example of her weaving.


Paul makes great rugs. This is just one of many.


Betty has had problems weaving. Seems she has an
obstruction in her warp!
