Meetings
1. January 21,2012. Christ the King Lutheran Church in
Durango. Project and Chat Day-bring something to work on and spend the
afternoon chatting. We will have special chatting by members who took
classes this past year.
2. March 17, 2012. First Presbyterian Church in
Farmington, NM - Triangle weaving with Anna.
3. May 19, 2012. Mancos Public Library, Mancos, CO. Fashion show
and tea party.
4. July 21, 2012. Our annual picnic at Kathy's house in
Mancos.
5. September 15, 2012. Pagosa Springs, CO - Web
felting with Mary at her home. Plan to come early and/or stay over for
soaking at the Pagosa Springs.
6. November 19, 2011. Our annual Christmas Party in Cortez.
Special Interest Groups
- Wild Woolly Women of the West Spinning Guild. They meet once a month
on the last Saturday of the month at different locations. Everyone is

- Cortez Area Fiber Artists. This group meets on the third Sat. of
the even numbered months from 9:00 to 1:00. They meet in different locations
and everyone brings a project to work on. Fiber artists from Cortez,
Mancos, Dolores, Yellow Jacket and elsewhere in the Cortez area are welcome.
- The New Mexico Fiber Group meets on the third Thursday of each
month in Aztec. This also includes Bloomfield, Farmington, Kirtland
and surrounding areas. Anyone interested in spinning, weaving and
fiber arts in general is welcome. Bring a project to work on.
